As we know that many famous
billionaires are investing in space like Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Richard
brandson etc. these three are most famous personality. They have their own aerospace
company named as SPACEX, Blue origin and Virgin galactic respectively. But you
ever wonder why they are investing in space?
Why?
We humans
are over populated as compared to the land available in earth, we are in
numbers of 7 billion and this number accepted to be increased. We pollute earth
and our thinking attract us to the space. We think that mars and moon are new
colony on which humans can live. Tourism and idea of being a multi-planetry
species is biggest reason that attract billionaire to invest in the space.
Biggest reason is that earth is over polluted and chances of destroying it is
in good amount. Hence, if we want to survive as a species then switching planet
is the best option we know. One more reason is the end of fossil fuel on earth
and the creation of energy crisis because our most energy need is completed by
fossil fuel and less advancement in the field of renewable energy.

Blue origin has gained National US
certification on which company gained $109 million dollar and they also gained
US air force contract to build rockets to military launches. On other hand,
musk company SPACEX has gained $130 million from US Air force alone to send a
satellite by 2020. There are 534 venture capitalists who invested in the space
out of which 140 invested first time in 2018. This shows that people take space
seriously. Now satellite industry is at $258.3 billion dollar and this number
is expected to be $1 trillion at the end of 2024.
Market in space
The emerge of 5G and launching of
satellites opens the door to the new market and this is not a easy job but
billionaire engage in it. One of main reason is to provide high speed and
affordable internet communication at the every part of the earth. Elon musk has
already announced a project called starlink which provide high speed internet
to the globe in which 24,000 satellites orbiting earth. In 2019, bunches 60
satellite is launched successful and money earned through it is estimated to be
$3 billion dollar. Some scientists criticize it because it cover the original
view of space from earth. Many times rockets exploded like in 2016, spaceX
rocket was blast in which AMOS-6( a internet bandswith satellite worth of $200
million dollar owned by facebook).

company formed by amazon founder Jeff Bezos. Aim of this company or any other
private aerospace is to build cost efficient and powerful rocket which can
successful launched into space. Blue origin made a new rocket named as new
spehard which is fully reusable rocket and a vertical takeoff rocket also. IN
2011, one of the rocket crashed but its main part collected after crash. The
main aim of this company is to make space tourism affordable at very low cost.
CEO of blue origin is Bob Smith. Headquarter of blue origin is located at Kent,
Washington, United states.

SPACEX is also a aerospace company
which is founded by elon musk in 2002 with the aim of reducing space
transportation costs to enable the colonization of Mars. The start of this
company is not good, first three launches had failed but elon musk never losses
and fourth launch was successful and after that company gained a $1.6 billion
contract by NASA to send their satellites into the space. The most powerful
rocket of earth is built by SPACEX which is known as falcon heavy. CEO is Elon
Musk. First tourist of company is japnese billionaire Yusaka maezawa.
VIRGIN
GLACTIC
It is a British spaceflight company
within virgin group. It is developing commercial spacecraft and aims to provide
suborbital launches for space science missions. Virgin Galactic plans to
provide orbital human spaceflight as well. The company had already started to
sell ticket of space at $250,000. CEO of company is George T. Whitesides. Big
pop singer is also sign to be a tourist of space.
CHALLENGES and CONCLUSION
Blasting of rocket and money is also a
real problem of this industry but people try to tackle these problem and solve
the space problem also. SPACEX is winning the race as compared to these two
company. I am very existed about these project and hope that you also. Cost of
liquid hydrogen and oxygen is too high and they are limited in earth. Hence, we
need these fuels in more amount on another planets or use cheap fuels like
methane but this is also limited in earth. Electric rocket can be a good
replacement of fuel used rocket. Mars and moon can be our new home and who
knows you have a piece of land on mars and moon.
